The creation of the Untuckem Burger

“untuckem” began as a shirt. As a tribute to the Milwaukee Brewers’ post victory celebration in 2008. The original thought was to have the entire crowd at Miller Park untuck their shirts along with their favorite team after every win.
It has since become a grass roots movement, reflecting the blue-collar nature of the Wisconsin sports fan and finishing off a hard day’s work.
Untuckem is now a state-of-mind. An attitude. A mantra, if you will. Embracing all that is Wisconsin, fans now refer to the movement as the ‘State of Untuckem’.
But the idea came up that untuckem needed a food item. We love our food in Wisconsin. And what better foodstuff than a burger for the Wisconsin sports fan?
In searching for the ideal partner to keep the movement going, it was recommended by a number of fans that untuckem and AJ Bombers team up to make it happen. Two like-minded, salt of the earth Midwest brands getting together for the fans and the Milwaukee Brewer community.
It’s happening NOW!
Fans of untuckem and AJ Bombers will create the UNTUCKEM BURGER in the upcoming weeks, primarily via social media. And what better time to start the burger-designing process than this upcoming weekend when the Brewers face the Cardinals - the team which has taken the most offense to the “untuckem.” Thank you, Mr. LaRussa, for the inspiration.
The debut of the burger will be Saturday, April 24th, before the Crew faces the hated Cubs. Join us at AJ bombers for an UNTUCKEM BURGER and get your very own untuckem t-shirt pressed in the Bomber’s parking lot on the original untuckem press!
